AhlulBayt News Agency: The death toll from the devastating explosion at Shahid Rajaee Port in Bandar Abbas, Iran, has risen.
According to Mehr, on Monday, the Director General of Hormozgan Province's Crisis Management announced that 46 people have lost their lives as a result of the blast that occurred on Saturday. He added that 1,072 individuals injured in the incident have been treated and discharged, while 138 remain hospitalized.
The explosion, caused by a fuel tanker detonation at the port in Hormozgan Province, is still under investigation.
Iranian officials, alongside emergency services, health departments, and crisis management teams, are actively working to provide necessary care to victims and their families. Efforts are also underway to secure and rehabilitate affected facilities.
